Consistency and Focus
Any coach and athlete will tell you that consistency and focus is going to be one of the main factors in helping you achieve the results you are looking for. Being on a schedule that is ideal and around people who are going to push you is important. Fenix believes that having a strong community is one of the reasons we’ve seen so many success stories from from our gym.
Avoid Overtraining
Don’t go until you throw up. Your body has limits and those limits need to be respected. Even though we want to see you get stronger and better, we also want to ensure that your body is getting the rest it needs. When the body is overstressed and overworked, it can actually have the opposite affect you want. Take time to rest and breath. It’s going to ensure your body is getting what it needs.
Nutrition
It all starts with what you put in your body. Before workout, after workout, food is fuel for the body and it helps to determine the path of your body and fitness. Be sure you have a plan, you stick with the plan, an work the plan. We want to see you have the fuel you need to train hard and play hard. It’s about improving performance and that happens in the gym and the kitchen.
