Get Enough Sleep the Night Before
The best, they rest. Your body needs to time to rest and recuperate, especially after every training session. When you don’t get enough quality sleep, keyword being qualify, you won’t have the energy for a successful workout. Sleep allows to get your hormones regulated and reset your central nervous system. When your body doesn’t get the sleep it requires, your muscle growth will suffer and the risk of having poor form will increase. This can result in injury and not hitting your weight goals.
Water, Water, Water
Your body is comprised of about two-thirds water. What this should tell you, is what your body needs water for basic and proper function. You when are hydrated; your brain is functioning properly along with your muscles. Dehydration can lead to muscle cramping, dizziness, and you fatigue faster. Drink water throughout the day and keep on a water schedule. Don’t try to drink all the water right before workout. You need to make it apart of your daily routine.
Don’t Skip the Warmup
For most trainers, they want to skip right to weight lifting. The issue is that the warmup should have the same importance as the actuality workout. Your body needs time to get ready, loosen up, and get blood flowing through the veins. There are been so many gym injuries that have happened due to not warming up properly or not warming up at all. Give your body time to do the proper drills, stretches, and small exercises before lifting heavy. If you want to be a successful weightlifter, don’t skip the warmup.
